Tariq Jameel (commonly known as Maulana Tariq Jameel, born: October 1, 1953) is a prominent Pakistani Deobandi Islamic scholar, preacher, and member of Tablighi Jamaat. His simple lifestyle as an Islamic preacher, along with his fluent speeches in Urdu and Arabic, has brought him fame throughout the Muslim world. He has been able to influence people from all walks of life, including ministers, businessmen, actors, and athletes. In his educational journey, he was inspired by Tablighi Jamaat and abandoned his medical studies to engage in Islamic education. In addition to preaching, he has made contributions to social service and education by founding the Maulana Tariq Jameel Foundation, Jamia Al Husainia Madrasa, and Mim Academy. In 2021, he established a clothing business called MTJ Brand. As a popular speaker, he is consistently included in the top 50 of the world's 500 most influential Muslims survey. He has won the Pride of Performance award twice.
