Mawlana Muhammad Abdul Malek (born in 1969) is an Islamic figure from Bangladesh. He is the head of the Faculty of Hadith Sciences and the Writing and Research Department at the Islamic research institution Markazud Da'wah Al-Islamia in Dhaka, as well as the supervisor of the monthly magazine Al-Kausar. Additionally, he was a member of the Bangladesh Qawmi Madrasa Education Commission established by the government in 2012 and is an expert researcher and scholar in Hadith. His educational journey began at the Khadirhar Qawmi Madrasa in Chandpur's Shahreast. There, he studied until the Mishkat level. He then enrolled at Binori Town Jamiah-tul-Uloom Al-Islamia in Karachi, Pakistan. In 1988, he completed Takmeel (a degree equivalent to a Master's in Islamic Studies) there. After that, he pursued higher education in Hadith (Takhassus fil Hadith) under the supervision of Mawlana Abdur Rasheed Noman at the same institution for three years, completing Takhassus fil Hadith in 1991. Subsequently, he studied Fiqh and Fatwa for two years at Darul Uloom in Karachi under Mufti Taqi Usmani, completing Takhassus fil Fiqh wa al-Ifta in 1993. Later, he conducted research on various topics, including Hadith sciences, for about two and a half years under the guidance of Allama Abdul Fattah Abu Guddah in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, until 1995. In 1996, he joined the Markazud Da'wah Al-Islamia in Dhaka for advanced Islamic education and da'wah work. Currently, he serves as the Education Secretary and the head of the Faculty of Hadith Sciences at this institution. Since 2005, the monthly magazine Al-Kausar has been published as the mouthpiece of Markazud Da'wah Al-Islamia, and he has been serving as its supervisor since then. He also leads the Friday prayers at Azrun Karim Jame Masjid in Shantinagar, Dhaka, and teaches Hadith at Jamiah-tul-Uloom Al-Islamia Qawmi Madrasa. He was a member of the Bangladesh Qawmi Madrasa Education Commission established by the government in 2012.
