"Unattainable love is the truest form of love!"

At some point in life, we all fall in love. Loving someone deeply teaches us to discover life in a new way. During that phase, countless memories accumulate. Then, amidst laughter, jokes, anger, and affection, time flies by without us even realizing it. Eventually, that beautiful time fades away as reality takes over. Some loves reach fulfillment, while others are lost. Despite loving each other intensely, some love stories remain unfulfilled. That unfulfilled love lingers forever in our hearts, like the tender charm of the white kathgolap flower.

By kathgolap, I mean those special people we love dearly. This is why I dedicate this book to those "who loved but could not attain love."

Amid the countless stories of love gained and lost, when someone leaves, we blame each other. We harbor resentment and even hatred. Yet, at the end of the day, we feel that my love was the greatest. But—if we were to inquire, we might find that the other person feels the same. We don’t make that inquiry, though—held back by pride, blame, and intense resentment. That’s why, in my poetry, I’ve said:

"If you truly love, there is no room for personal grief,
If you truly love, there is no place for selfishness."
