Introduction

The struggle for survival of humanity eventually transforms into a journey for happiness. Laws, societies, states, civilizations, settlements, and colossal constructions have been established. Yet, happiness has remained elusive. Then began wars—between nations, tribes, and communities, even among brothers and relatives. Still, happiness was not found. In the quest for happiness, everything was attempted. Then the practice of exchange began. Trading one thing for another. Nevertheless, inner fulfillment did not come. After that, the age of currency arrived.

Currency has changed its form across nations, eras, and contexts, and its language and meaning have evolved. Yet, the concept of currency has remained largely the same. Earning that currency has become the primary goal. Ages have passed, centuries have passed, and aeons have gone by; the language of currency has become the language of success, the language of careers. In pursuit of this currency, people have forgotten about the ultimate currency of their lives. People have sought to buy everything with currency. But happiness? The very essence for which they have strived so much has remained unattainable.
