Dr. Muhammad Abdul Bari is a British educator, parenting trainer, and author of Bangladeshi descent. He earned his PhD in Physics from King’s College London and later pursued a career as a behavioral specialist in teaching. Since retiring in 2011, he has dedicated himself to writing and providing parenting training. He is the former Chairman of the East London Mosque and served as the Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Britain (2006-2010). Additionally, he was the President of the Islamic Forum of Europe and founded AmanahParenting.com, an online platform offering parenting advice. Dr. Bari has served the East London community in various capacities for nearly three decades. He has been a trustee of the East London Mosque since 2002 and played a pivotal role in establishing it as a model mosque in 2009. He is also a patron of Muslim Aid and was a member of the executive committee for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. His book, Muslim Parenting, is widely regarded as a valuable guide for Muslim parents worldwide, where he discusses strategies for raising children based on Islamic values and principles.
