Robert Toru Kiyosaki, a Japanese-descended author, grew up in the Hawaiian Islands. He is better known by his abbreviated name, Robert T. Kiyosaki. After finishing his childhood, he moved to New York for further education. After establishing himself as a graduate, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps. His professional life then took him to Vietnam, where he served as a Marine Corps officer and a helicopter gunship pilot. Upon returning from Vietnam, his journey as a war-returned businessman began. In 1977, he founded his own company, which brought him both economic and business success. Later, in 1994, he and his wife, Kim Kiyosaki, established the Rich Dad Company. They set the company’s mission as: “Promoting financial prosperity for the benefit of humanity.” Robert T. Kiyosaki’s most famous book is considered to be Rich Dad Poor Dad. It is renowned as one of the most popular personal finance and economic books of all time. Through this book, he has been able to change millions of people’s perceptions about money. Additionally, his 2005 book, Before You Quit Your Job, attracted attention from new entrepreneurs. Most of Robert T. Kiyosaki’s books fall under the motivational genre, and he himself is a successful motivational speaker. Professionally, he is primarily a real estate businessman, investor, and columnist.
