Sheikh Ahmad Musa Jibril: Life and Education Sheikh Ahmad Musa Jibril was born in the United States. His father, Sheikh Musa Jibril, was a student at the Islamic University of Medina, which led Ahmad Musa Jibril to spend part of his childhood in Medina. At just eleven years old, he completed the memorization of the Qur'an and memorized Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim before finishing high school. In 1989, he completed high school in the United States and spent the rest of his adolescence there. He then obtained a degree in Sharia from the Islamic University of Medina and returned to the United States to complete a Juris Doctor and a Master's degree in law. Sheikh Ahmad acquired knowledge from many renowned scholars. Before the age of eighteen, he completed the study of Imam Ibn Taymiyyah's "Majmu' al-Fatawa" (37 volumes), Imam Ibn al-Qayyim's books, and Imam Ibn Hazm's "Al-Muhalla" (11 volumes) under his father's guidance. He studied with scholars such as Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen, Sheikh Bakr Abu Zaid, Sheikh Muhammad Mukhtar Al-Shanqiti, Sheikh Hamoud bin Uqla Al-Shu'aibi, Sheikh Ihsan Ilahi Zahri, and many others, gaining their approval in the process. Sheikh Ahmad Musa Jibril studied for five years with Sheikh Safi-ur-Rahman Al-Mubarakpuri, the author of "Ar-Rahik al-Makhtum." He also received knowledge from Sheikh Muqbil, Sheikh Abdullah Guanaiman, Sheikh Muhammad Ayub, and Sheikh Atiyah Al-Salimi (may Allah have mercy on him). In the field of Hadith studies, he gained approval from the Muhaddith Sheikh Hamad Al-Ansari, Sheikh Abu Malik Muhammad Shakira, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Baaz. Three months before Sheikh Bin Baaz's death, he referred to him as 'Sheikh' and stated that he held a sound creed. Currently, Sheikh Ahmad Musa Jibril resides in the United States.
