Majnu Shah (name on educational certificate and other certificates - Md. Majnur Rahman) was born on February 5, 1970, in the village of Haroa in Nilphamari Sadar Upazila. His father was the deceased Zahural Islam, and his mother was Mariam Begum. He obtained his bachelor's degree from Nilphamari Government College in 1990 and his master's degree from Dhaka College in 1993. He is primarily a lyricist, known for writing spiritual songs. He is also skilled in writing poetry and children's literature. His English rhyme book for children, "Infant In Nature," is part of the curriculum in various schools. The educational rhymes and stories he has written are becoming popular among children through animated cartoons on YouTube. He served for a long time as a civilian member of the Bangladesh Army. He is currently active in writing. His published works include 'I Have Written the Name in My Heart' (a poetry collection); "Infant In Nature" (an English rhyme collection); "Al-Asma-ul-Husna" (a rhythmic rhyme featuring one hundred names of Allah); and "Jal Kalo Nodi" (a poetry collection).
